Baltic Coast at Ystad
Beautiful soft sand beaches and gentle coastline
An unhurried experience to explore the coastline of the Baltic Sea at Ystad.
Starting at Ystad Saltsjöbad. The tour heads east in the direction of Kåseberga. It’s a wonderful opportunity to enjoy 360 degree views of the Baltic Sea, as we follow the marine equivalent of the Österleden. In the right conditions you can marvel in the tranquility and peace as you navigate your way along the coast under your own pedal power on our cycles with their Catamaran-like technology which gives excellent stability, security and enjoyment for all. After we pass each jetty on our way, adjacent to the nature reserve known as ‘Sandskogen’ we will return along the same route when we reach the point where the Nybroån river meets the Baltic Sea.
In Summer, on the return leg, we can plan in a ‘Fika stop’ at the ‘Beach House kiosk’ where you can enjoy hot coffee, cold drink, ice cream and a panini.
The bikes will be set up ready for you on the beach. After signing the liability release form, fitting life vests (mandatory), and the orientation talk you’ll then be escorted out onto the sea with Seamus.
